Hearst Television Expands Mobile Content Efforts with LSN Mobile

New partnership will dramatically increase mobile traffic to Hearst mobile sites and deliver market-leading news, sports, weather and entertainment content


ATLANTA, October 12, 2010 - Hearst Television has partnered with LSN Mobile to deliver the award-winning Hearst Television local news and weather content onto enhanced mobile websites, downloadable applications, and wireless carrier portals. With this new partnership, Hearst Television further ensures that across television newscasts, websites, major online portal partners, and mobile platforms, their content is available anytime and anywhere to serve each of their 26 local communities.

Under the agreement, Hearst Television will leverage LSN Mobile's Local Wireless media-to-mobile platform to deliver a broad range of timely, differentiated mobile content that complements the reach of its local television stations. The partnership is designed to increase the amount of mobile traffic for Hearst Television due to the mobile device optimization, robust content, and syndication through the wireless carriers. In addition, LSN Mobile is delivering downloadable applications for Hearst Television's local television stations on iPhone, Android, and soon, BlackBerry.
