LSN Mobile Technologies Powers LG’s Second Annual National Texting Championship

LSN Marketing-to-Mobile Connects Advertising to Mobile Subscribers


ATLANTA, June 26, 2008 - When the winner is announced at the final text-off second annual LG National Texting Championship on July 9 in New York City, the technology powering those flying fingers will come from LSN, Local Solutions Network, who maintains the largest local mobile advertising network in the country and provider of various mobile marketing technology solutions.

The contest sponsor, LG Electronics MobileComm U.S.A., Inc. (LG Mobile Phones), assisted by agency Fathom Communications, has deployed the LSN Mobile Technologies Short Message Service (SMS) application to increase the delivery speed and reliability of the phrases contestants enter and send on contestants' mobile handsets. When contestants send an SMS message, it is processed and delivered simultaneously on the LSN server. The first player in each pool who sends an error-free message to the right contact advances to the next round.

Text messaging is just one of the capabilities of LSN Mobile Technologies. To promote the contest, LG used LSN's mobile marketing application to deliver an interactive advertising campaign on its Local Wireless mobile ad network to drive engagement and awareness for the contest.
